I’m giving away copies of The Night of the Storm, a partner-swapping, bi-awakening novella set in a lake cabin during a summer storm. This is one of my favorites, and a good place to start your exploration of the CorneliaVerse.
One of my projects for the rest of 2026 is to flesh out my “reader magnet” stories — tales connected to my books that can draw in new readers, or extend an existing reader’s enjoyment. “Nakanawidah Nights” is one of the latter: it expands on themes and characters from The Night of the Storm and will lead into a sequel, planned for the fall of 2027.
Not that I think you need to read The Night of the Storm before you can enjoy “Nakanawidah Nights” — this little story can definitely stand on its own! But if you like, you’ll love The Night of the Storm, and since it’s free through October 12, what’s stopping you from grabbing a copy?
