My writing schedule has been interrupted over the last couple weeks while I work on my contribution to a charity anthology put together by one of my erotica heroes, Lacey Cross, to benefit the work of World Central Kitchen, who have been on the ground in so many places that have been devastated by disasters both natural and human-made. I’m not especially good at writing a short, tight story, so I actually ended up with the start of a new Farmhouse Flings story, scenes from three (!) new novellas, and the story I finally ended up submitting for this project, a sweet little D/s tale called “Trust Fall.”
I visited the area that originally inspired this anthology — western North Carolina, along the Blue Ridge Parkway — at this time last year, and was struck by the beauty of its mountains and the hospitality of its people. It reminded me of one of my own places of origin, northern New Hampshire, and it was an easy landscape to fall in love with. Seeing the damage done by Hurricane Helene was heartbreaking.
Since then, there’ve been plenty more opportunities for World Central Kitchen to step in to give essential aid to people in need. When you read this massive collection of steamy stories, by some of the best romance and erotica writers working today, you’re helping to support that work (and also enjoying some delightfully filthy tales).
It’s only going to be available for a limited time, so don’t hesitate to pre-order your copy or clear some space in your Kindle Unlimited library to snap it up when it’s ready!
