Phil’s solo camping trip at Lake Nakanawidah is interrupted by Jessie’s flailing efforts to make camp for the first time. The interruption isn’t unwelcome, though, when he finds that she’s cute and feisty. Their connection is complicated by factors beyond their encounter in the woods, like Phil’s engagement to Petra.

Can they contain the forest fire that their passion ignites? Or will a night of passion burn the map to love that they thought they were following on their separate journeys?

Note that while this has some trappings of romance, it does revolve around cheating between consenting adults and is chock-a-block with sex, and the ending is pretty ambiguous. It’s the first in a series of at least three titles — the second, “Off the Leash,” which tells the story of Petra’s own adventure on her girls’ weekend, should be available the first week of July.
