A historical “why choose” romance
Planned for Fall 2025
James Waterford, the wealthy son of a landed aristocrat, and Liam Marsh, born in poverty on the streets of Belfast, have retreated to the lonely Yorkshire moors in the wake of the Great War. Scarred by their experiences in the trenches, and disillusioned by the new world the war has wrought, they seek to heal their wounds by tending to a recalcitrant flock of sheep and repairing Reynard’s Close, a dilapidated croft on the edge of the wilderness.
Then the mysterious young Henny appears, a young woman who claims to have no past but who appears to be in flight from some dreadful fate. She disrupts the delicate balance of Reynard’s Close and its men, stealing their hearts and placing them on a collision course with history.
