Hello, lovelies! Cornelia is off the grid this month, hard at work on some long-neglected writing projects, and so she’s turned the newsletter chores over to a few of the persistent voices in her head. And this week, you get me, Penelope, former proprietress of the erotica section at the Well Thumbed bookshop, and currently responsible for Dreadful Penny’s Story Time at Lucky Fierce Vibes.

You’re familiar with my work, yes? If not, you have no excuse but to snap up my two delightfully naughty adventures: Shagged in the Bookshop is free until April 9, and the even raunchier sequel Marjory’s Lesson is just 99 cents until April 12.

Allow me to tell you a bit about these two titles, and suggest some other equally kinky (but clever!) stories in Cornelia’s ouvre.

And who exactly is this Penelope, you may be asking. The answer can be found in Shagged in the Bookshop, one of Cornelia’s better efforts (if I do say so myself).

This is the story of a bookseller who has spent her career assembling the most delightfully wicked collection of erotic literature, only to have all that work swept away by a soulless corporation.

And what do we do when our life’s work is so heartlessly disparaged? We seek revenge, dear reader, that’s what we do! Which is precisely what happens in this tale, in which I seduce the hapless college lads sent to shift my beloved bookstore’s tomes and teach them some lessons they’ll never forget!

Marjory’s Lesson

The problem with revenge, though, is that it is often a double-edged sword. After the events of Shagged in the Bookshop, I had to seek new employment, and found a splendid opportunity at Lucky Fierce Vibes, a purveyor of fine erotic toys, where I host a weekly story time with decidedly adult themes.

The corporate drone in charge of dismantling my bookshop, Marjory, was apparently so corrupted by the wicked traps I laid in the corporate procurement systems that she was driven mad with vengeance and lust, and sought me out to settle the score.

I’m still not sure if the ledger is balanced between Marjory and me after the events described in Marjory’s Lesson; perhaps you could give it a read and let me know what you think … 

If you’ve read my stories, you’ve probably concluded that I have a taste for the lash, the crop, and the rope. And considering Cornelia’s output, I suspect she does as well, though she may not admit it …

Should you, too, enjoy reading tales involving bondage, submission, and discipline, may I recommend some other titles you should explore? Madeline’s Awakening involves some incredibly creative and well-planned scenes involving power play; Pounded at Pirate Land is perhaps less well-planned, but centers around some delightful rigging (supplied by a tattooed bad boy — I think Cornelia has a type …); and should you want to explore the darker side of restraint, you can’t go wrong with The Senator’s Daughter, a story Cornelia blames on her supposed brother Quentin (whom I’ve never met, so I have some suspicions as to his verity). Be warned, that one is quite unpleasant for its characters (but delightful for its readers!).
