    I admire your quality and volume of work. Do you you find that number of titles is good for business or that fewer, longer stories produce more sales?

    That’s a good question! In the erotica category, the trend is toward more titles, but shorter, with the goal of building a readership that will want everything in a series. And the pacing of erotica, with a sex scene every 1-2k words, makes shorter easier to write – long erotica is exhausting! But it does work – my All for One and One For All and Mapping the Boundaries of Love series have been good earners.

    I’m planning to go more into romance in 2026 (with a different pen name to be announced later), with longer books released less frequently. Two of my most successful titles of 2025 – Matador and The Heart’s Hunger – are longer romance books, and they were definitely more fun to write.
