“Off the Leash” tells the story of Petra’s experiences when her girls’ weekend casino trip is upended by a swingers’ convention at the same hotel. She falls under the spell of the mysterious Martin and Cynthia, the swingers’ group’s gurus, and discovers ecstasy and anguish she never imagined were possible.

In “Madeline’s Awakening,” Petra’s friend Madeline pursues an erotic obsession to extreme lengths, exploring the limits of her passions with the help of a cast of fascinating characters.

And in “Casey’s Story,” the events of the weekend awaken memories that Casey has kept locked away ever since she had her own encounter with Martin and Cynthia long ago.

The story began with Petra’s fiance Phil’s trip to the woods in “A Dip in the Lake,” and concludes (or at least has a few loose ends tied up) when Petra and Phil travel to Lake Makanogin in “The Contours of Desire.” This has been one of my favorite series to write (even if the characters are occasionally exasperating!); I hope you enjoy reading it.
