“Seducing The Vampire” by Selina Reese is one for the lovers of vampire lovers. A woman is forced to attempt to seduce and kill an ancient vampire named Dorian Gray (apparently Oscar Wilde got a few of the details wrong …) to save her kidnapped sister, and finds herself under the vampire’s erotic spell. Is she up to the challenge presented by his skilled and depraved lovemaking?
As a lover of late Victorian literature, and especially Wilde, I enjoyed the little references to the vampire’s literary namesake. And as a lover of steamy, no-holds-barred erotica, I enjoyed the heat level — I don’t know if it would be possible to make Oscar Wilde blush, but I believe that he would enjoy what Reese has her version of Dorian Gray do the narrator, and would likely be a little jealous.
I grabbed this title for the reduced price of 99 cents — a bargain that vampire erotica (or any erotica) stories shouldn’t pass up!
