I’m trying something new on Substack, a newsletter/site called The Eroticist’s Notebook. Unlike on Medium, where I’m posting works in progress, samples from eBooks, and original experiments in erotic fiction, the Substack space will be more about the process of writing, the nuts and bolts of publishing electronic erotica, and the contexts (social, political, cultural, and literary) in which erotica exists today. I’ll also be sharing links to favorite stories I run across, and news about publications.
It’s also possible to subscribe to my eBook library on Substack. The subscription price there is a little higher than it is here — Substack sets the minimum annual subscription at $30, whereas you can a subscription on this site for $24. Honestly neither is a great value at the moment — as of today you can get six eBooks and a subscriber-only story, a value of about $18 — but my experiment in daily posting at Medium has given me a head start on a bunch of projects, so by summer you’ll be getting a great deal with a subscription at either place.
You can also subscribe for free, which will get you each Notebook entry as it’s published sent to your inbox, as well as news about forthcoming publications. It’s a different stream of writing than what you’ll get subscribing to this site, or to Medium — you’ve got the opportunity to fill your inbox with Cornelia Quick, so why wouldn’t you take it?
